Trauma profoundly impacts women’s health, often going undiagnosed despite its links to various conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, and autoimmune diseases. Traditional medical approaches frequently address only the symptoms without recognizing the underlying trauma, leading to confusion and frustration. In contrast, my approach offers a holistic and compassionate healing journey, focusing on understanding each woman’s unique experience and integrating both emotional and physical health. By creating a supportive space and addressing the root causes of trauma, we aim to empower women, restore balance, and foster lasting well-being.

Trauma impacts a significant number of women, yet it often goes undiagnosed despite its association with a higher risk of various medical conditions. Trauma can manifest in numerous ways, including anxiety and depression, headaches and migraines, chronic digestive issues, hormonal and gynecological problems, eating disorders, and chronic pain, such as pelvic pain and fibromyalgia. It can also contribute to painful sex, autoimmune diseases, brain fog, cardiac events, and even dementia. These diverse symptoms highlight the profound and far-reaching effects trauma can have on a woman’s health.

Unfortunately, many doctors fail to connect the dots between trauma and its impact on women’s health. Conventional medical care often presents a black-and-white approach, focusing solely on treating symptoms rather than addressing underlying trauma. This lack of comprehensive understanding can lead to feelings of shame and blame, leaving women feeling confused and embarrassed about their symptoms. They may question where their symptoms are coming from, why they are experiencing them, and why they feel so unwell.

The conventional approach can leave women feeling isolated and unsupported, as their symptoms seem disconnected and unexplained. This can exacerbate feelings of frustration and helplessness. By addressing both the emotional and physical aspects of trauma, I aim to guide women towards a more integrated and restorative path to wellness.
